This banana fosters French toast is one the best French toasts I have ever eaten. It has the sweetness flavor that you love about a French Toast with a kick of rum to give it little punch. This beautiful French Toast is loaded with caramelized bananas. The natural maple syrup and the crunchy texture from the walnuts make the perfect topping!

French Toast Ingredients:
Brioche bread slice (6 slices)
5 large eggs
2 tbsp of cinnamon
Butter for pan
Banana Fosters Ingredients:
1 large banana sliced
1/4 cup of light brown sugar
1/4 cup of maple syrup
4 tbsp of butter
2 tbsp of rum (optional) + add more if desired
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs and cinnamon until fully combined. Coat the bread in the egg mixture and let it sit for 2 minutes.
2. Grease a fry pan on medium-high heat with butter, and cook the bread for 2 minutes on each or until golden brown. Repeat for remaining bread.
3. In a separate pan make the banana fosters topping. Combine brown sugar, maple syrup, and butter into a pan on low heat (about 2 minutes). Mix in the rum, bananas, and walnuts. Let the mixture cook for 1 minute.
4. Pour over French Toast and serve immediately.
